As a Private and Dinning Events Commis Chef at the Andaz London Liverpool Street, you are encouraged to express your creativity and have the opportunity to develop your skills on a daily basis.

Driven by the passion for delivering the best dishes to the customers, you are playing your part as a dynamic member of a motivated team by supporting in the successful running of the Banqueting Kitchen.

Some of the key duties include but are not limited to :

  • Deep knowledge of menus and seasonal products
  • Being familiar with all food items on the menu and new products on the market
  • Ensuring hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly
  • Ideally you have your NVQ Level 2 and already gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment.

    You are passionate about cooking, work as a team and motivated to change and grow.

    As all our outlets have different concepts and kitchens ranging from Brasserie, gastropub to Japanese cuisine, the Andaz London Liverpool Street is able to provide you with the diversity in cuisines to help expand your culinary skills.

    Some of the key duties include but are not limited to :

  • managing the team in line with business needs and guest expectations
  • mentoring and coaching to ensure maximum employee engagement
  • being familiar with all food items on the menu and new products on the market
  • follow standard recipes and minimise waste to help ensure that the food cost is in line with budget
  • ensuring all dishes are correctly presented and garnished before being sent for service
  • ensuring hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly
