Investis Digital are recruiting for a Project Success Manager to join our Programme Delivery team in Bristol.

    A bit more about the role :

    As Project Success Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a variety digital projects. You will follow established processes to lead both client and project teams through the full project lifecycle.

    Leading clients, you will diligently control the scope, budget and quality of your projects, while clearly articulating status, successes, risks and issues to stakeholder and project teams.

    You will be comfortable managing geographically distributed, cross functional teams, ensuring strong leadership, communication and direction towards project milestones and deadlines.

    You will be accountable for governing the quality of team deliverables, managing client expectations, and ensuring smooth transition of projects to services and client enablement teams post completion.

    With strong attention to detail, process control and an ability to cascade motivation to your team, you will establish yourself as a leader on the projects you manage.

    Key responsibilities include.

    Team and Client Leadership

  • Chair internal project meetings including kick-offs, retrospectives and status
  • Contribute to external client project meetings chaired by an account manager
  • Lead clients to ensure effective expectation management and alignment
  • Act as the project delivery escalation point for your team and client stakeholders
  • Partner effectively and ensure transition to offshore build project manager
  • Ensure team and client have clarity on scope, schedule and change process
  • Provide clear and regular communication to ensure continual team alignment on delivery status, milestones, risks and issues.
  • Maintain accountability with regard to deliverable quality and ensure mitigating options are created with regard to projects risks and issues
  • Motivate, coach and mentor project team toward successful outcomes
  • Project Management

  • Produce scope, estimates and budget for a variety of small to med digital projects
  • Produce and maintain a risk, assumption, issue and dependency (RAID) log
  • Produce and maintain project plan and resource forecast (Schedule)
  • Document project health (status) on a regular cadence (Quality)
  • Maintain project margin throughout project lifecycle (Budget)
  • Maintain project scope through effective change control
  • Endeavor to meet quarterly project management KPI targets
  • Process Leadership

  • Govern project team adherence to delivery process and associated meetings
  • Ensure team and client understand and follow defined project methodology
  • Ensure all timesheets are submitted on a weekly basis
  • Ensure close collaboration with PMO function with regard to resource forecasting
  • Ensure correct toolsets and templates are being used by delivery team
  • Ensure delivery completion process is followed with regard to project transition
  • Advise on process improvements and refinement where applicable
  • All applicants should also possess :

  • Digital delivery experience in a client facing environment
  • Ability to manage / lead or provide governance for multiple projects
  • Very strong leadership skills, assertiveness
  • Strong numerical, written and oral presentation skills
  • Robust negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Great levels of client and stakeholder management skills
  • Defining scope, budget and quality assurance skills
  • Highly process orientated with attention to detail
  • Experience of a well-defined delivery methodologies (agile, waterfall)
  • Excellent working knowledge of project management tools
  • Consistency in approach, best practices and team management
  • The following skills are also desirable :

  • Formal project management qualification such as Prince 2
  • Prior account management experience
  • Mavenlink, Jira and Confluence experience
  • Understanding of financial accounting principles with the ability to effect positive change on numbers
  • Knowledge of CMS technologies (Drupal and SiteCore preferable)
  • Management of the creative process including leading and advising the client
  • Leadership certification
  • Experience working with remote build teams
  • Keen interest in creative digital solutions
  • Knowledge of digital corporate communications and investor relations
