AssemblyTeam Lead

Working for Eaton’s award-winning engineering team,you will lead and manage the assembly team at the Titchfield site.

Your key deliverables :

As part of the Engineering team, the assemblyteam lead is to delegate and assign work to their direct reports, report dailyto the engineering manager on status and attend project meetings being the focalpoint for all the project and NPI work.

You will take ownership of the job,attending projects reviews giving information to the project team on progress.

Take overall responsibility for the Testmanager during any absence such as holiday or sickness.

Day today leadership of your team members Assign and delegate work as required

Givedaily reports to the Engineering Manager on status of all current jobs

Assumeall responsibilities of the Engineering Manager when out of the office

Planning Givepletion dates to project teams for all work

Abilityto approve overtime when required to meet deadlines

Assistwith 5S audits and EHS reviews as required

AttendMRB’s, iPDR & iCDR as required

Approvalof team member spend up to the designated limit

Manageall jobs entering the area through planning to ensure both engineering and NPIwork ispleted.

Managethe flow ofponents from NPI and Operations through assembly and into test

Provenmanagement of people / Leadership experience Developing team members

Are you?

Knowledge of aircraft fuel systemponent builds.

Knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering.

Knowledge of assembly techniques for aerospace.

Are your degree qualified

Good organizational and planning skills.

Management of People / Leadership skills

Experience in developing people’s skills
