To be part of the team responsible for the preventative maintenance of the UK fleet. This includes maintaining, and servicing to the highest standard, ensuring we comply with MCA Coding and RYA requirements.

All day to day responsibilities of a technician.

  • Engine checks and maintenance.
  • Engine servicing and sail drive servicing.
  • Maintenance of electronic equipment, including autopilots, batteries, navigation and equipment.
  • Refuelling and boat handling.
  • Boat hand overs and liaison with charter customers.
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting.
  • Providing call out cover and attending to support events such as Cowes Week and Round the Island.
  • The position will involve working on a rota system, including evening and weekend working.
  • Accurately record maintenance.
  • Fixing defects during turnaround.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Communicate with the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Broad technical, bosun, engineering and yacht maintenance knowledge.
