We are building a new digital business that is built ground up on AWS. As such, we are focused on creating a dynamic, flexible environment that can rapidly create and deliver.
Engineers are driving the new business, delivering the proofs-of-concepts or minimum viable product in an exciting greenfield environment, using AWS, Python, Terraform Typescript, JavaScript & React.
They are defining the scope and direction of the businesses as it grows.
We are looking for a talented and passionate engineer who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast paced environment to lead our platform team.
This is a high visibility role, backed by some of the senior-most leaders of the firm, and as such, will require creativity and drive to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
What you will do :
Lead a team of around 20 engineers across 3 regions.
Be responsible for the team that builds and maintains our CICD pipelines and production observability.
Develop core libraries and services for the application development team to build web applications and services that are responsive, scalable and always available.
Communicate with the global team, share your knowledge and learn from others.
Demonstrate a keen interest to continuously understand our business domain and our customer needs.
Show passion for technology by keeping up to date with the latest innovations in cloud based solutions.
What we are looking for :
10+ years experience in software engineering.
Demonstrable experience leading global engineering teams.
Deep experience managing platforms on Amazon Web Services.
Able to develop software in a modern programming language (e.g. Python or Java)
A proven track record working with mission critical software systems.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience working in a Git based CI / CD SDLC environment.
