UI Designers at RSA focus on :
Building, utilising and helping develop our maturing design system to build better interface experiences for our customers.
Translating partner brand guidelines to work with our insurance platforms, customising the RSA experience to suit the needs of their customers.
Collaborating on design concepts, working closely with both content and experience designers.
Delivering high quality design patterns that work effectively across screen sizes and device types.
Testing your work regularly across these devices, and in a variety of contexts.
Refining your work based on feedback from usability test sessions and reviews with the design team.
Documenting and sharing your decisions with the wider project team, helping them learn from your process.
Mentoring and helping to develop more junior members of the design team.
Using design to promote a better experience at every opportunity, seeking out ways to improve the journeys for our customers.
What we’re looking for :
We’re looking for someone who has been through the UCD process multiple times. Someone who’s seen the challenges it can present (particularly in large organisations) and learnt from it.
We’d love to see evidence of experience in full-time Design roles.
Significant experience designing digital product experiences, either with apps or websites, supported by a strong portfolio that showcases your design skills.
Knowledge of the latest design tools and processes, making us as effective as possible, while knowing how to get the most out of what we’ve got.
