Planning Manager Sheffield Operations Full time Permanent

An excellent opportunity for an analytical person that understands planning models with experience in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.

Have you provided strategic labour planning advice for Leadership team decision-making?

Our Sheffield site is currently experiencing a huge period of growth and change, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved with and be an influencer for planning and Mi across a 1.

2m SQFT warehouse, 24 / 7 operations with 1,700 FTE, 1000 agency staff increasing to a combined headcount of 4,000 at peak.

As Planning Manager, you will oversee workforce planning with the primary role of aligning operational plans with workforce management.

It all starts with a morning meeting to review the previous day's actuals vs plan and today's capability vs forecast. Liaising with all departments to ensure the adequate resource is provided.

Planning the recruitment through the agency for the next 12 months in line with the customers ( forecasts.

Working closely with the Head of Operations to review volumes youll help to predict future issues that the operation may face and project staffing requirements.

The environment is fast-paced so quick responses are required for staffing needs, developing plans to deploy staff to reduce risk and create a company culture.

As part of this role, you will head up the MI team onsite to deliver operational and business reports for both the onsite team and the customer.
