As a Global Digital Exemplar Fast Follower it is an exciting time at Milton Keynes University Hospital. We are now seeking an IT Technical Programme Manager to lead the Infrastructure Team, a fast paced and dynamic resource that provides the Trust with both IT operational support and the ability to move forward with ground breaking technologies to better the lives of our patients, families and employees.

This is a senior technical role with a primary purpose to lead, implement and advise on complex technical solutions and systems, being proactive and innovative to support the Trust's ambitious IT agenda.

You’ll be providing direction, advice and liaising closely with the other members of all the teams as well as senior department managers.

You will need to have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a very dynamic environment with commitment to provide an efficient and effective service.

You’ll have operational experience of working in an IT operations environment at a senior level within an infrastructure / technical team, along with good communication and customer service skills.

You must have a methodical, yet flexible approach to your work and be able to exercise responsible judgement alongside being well organised and highly motivated.

You will be working within a friendly multi-disciplinary team within a fast moving and dynamic environment that will see you working with staff across the organisation and with a range of external partners, which includes our GDE partner (West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust), NHS Digital and suppliers.
