We have a permanent opportunity on the RSA Motability Finance team with remit for P&L and Balance Sheet reporting. You will have responsibility for running the management of reporting the full financial result and providing relevant financial MI to a number of key stakeholders.
You will also have involvement in the Planning and Forecasting process, working with the RSAM Business Partner and UK Finance to ensure a robust and complete Plan / Forecast.
This is a demanding role with up to 2 direct reports. You will spend your time gathering, validating and reporting financial information, ensuring that reports are accurate and produced on time to the required internal and external standards.
You will also spend time collecting, analysing, interpreting and reporting on results information for management purposes.
You will add value through your ability to understand and communicate with others about business results and the balance sheet.
A key part of the role is to build and maintain a relationship with the corporate clients (Motability Operations and Motability Operations Reinsurance Limited), ensuring that their needs and requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
Carrying out financial and data analysis alongside compiling reports for various business purposes including :
Monitoring and management of financial results
Balance sheet analysis and controls
Month end and QBR processes
Internal and / or external audits, reports and reviews
Production of financial reporting MI and accompanying commentary
Ensuring the content of reports / analysis are timely, accurate, and complete
Developing strong relationships across the finance and wider business community and managing stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of outputs
Communicating and liaising with business and finance colleagues to investigate results, develop opportunities, maintain alignment and share information.
Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information and data, from multiple internal and / or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
Analysing financial and business data and information using a variety of proven statistical and other analytical techniques to determine causality, significance, business impact or implications and developing advice or recommendations
Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives potentially including internal reviews, development initiatives and corporate transactions
Running and / or contributing to the development of financial models and analytical processes to meet business needs.
Accuracy and attention to detail
To be successful in this role you will :
Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
Proven track record in financial analysis and attention to detail
Experience of working with senior people in a challenging commercial context

Based on Old Hall Street in the heart of Liverpool’s thriving commercial district you will find the RSA Liverpool office.
The site is home to c.1000 RSA colleagues including our Finance Centre of Excellence that boasts 170+ Finance professionals and RSA Motability business which is run in partnership with The Motability charity.
We also have teams on site from Personal Lines, HR, Audit, Global Risk Solutions, Claims and our Group Corporate Centre functions.
