The overall objective of the role is to :
a) Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner for Shared Services and the ERP Project Team to test, implement and administer a new ERP system which is scheduled to be rolled out towards the end of 2021 and throughout 2022.
b) Assist in the Group reporting processes to enable accurate and timely reporting to Holland.
c) Provide high quality analysis to facilitate cost management, and to track and monitor Shared Service department business benefits.
Management of ledgers and balance sheets for shared services departments
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation and journal processing as required
Improvement and control of internal recharges processes (such as insurances, fleet, IT)
Calculation and control of management charges
Ownership of all fixed asset registers, including posting of depreciation, asset acquisitions and disposals and reconciliation to GL
Assistance with maintaining all ledgers and balance sheets for dormant / run off companies including group reporting and stat accounts
Assist with conducting rigorous testing before the live systems are rolled out.
Co-ordinate and collaborate with Senior Finance Business Partner, Finance Team and IT Project Team to find solutions to problems identified in testing.
Assist with the interim process while companies within the group are on different systems including posting of journals, reconciliations and communication and training for end users.
Assist with the design and implementation of business processes for both the interim process and business as usual following successful completion of the project.
Assist with the review of group management accounts
Preparation of consolidations for group reporting
Preparation of other financial information required by group
Skills & experience
Graduate (2.1 or above)
Part / Fully Qualified accountant
Strong communicator able to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the business Familiarity with ERP implementation and configuration is desirable
