The role

This position will report directly to the Team Lead within Card Implementation.

You will be responsible for ensuring we successfully implement new customer card programmes via our standard Launch and Scale product offerings utilising the Railsbank Platform.

Assisting our customers to launch their card product efficiently and effectively within tight timeframes.

The role is UK based but can be fully remote, providing you can attend our offices from time to time in either Newcastle or London.

While we face COVID restrictions, you will be fully remote, even if you live within easy commuting distance of one of our office locations.

The key responsibilities will include :

  • Implementing new card (Visa & Mastercard) programmes for customer launch using our standard framework product offering
  • Liaison with associated partners who are key to supporting programme launch, including but not limited to Scheme, Processors and Card Bureau’s
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, card fees, supplier limitations and impact to end users
  • Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate records and MI provision related to standard card products
  • Building and maintaining a strong understanding of Railsbank’s internal platform
  • Building consultative and strong relationships with our customers through regular and open communications, for example, attending kick off meetings and providing guidance
  • Programme Delivery - oversee business integration of customer requirements and sign off from Card production implementation for customers
  • Fully engaging with Railsbank reporting processes so that internal / external status updates on the launch project are accurate and timely
  • To provide an optimum level of customer service at all times ensuring that agreed service standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Deal with routine enquiries, including those from professional sources, in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Represent the company, where appropriate, in strategic projects.
  • Operate within all company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Promote and operate within all Security and Health and Safety policies and all relevant legislation and regulation at all times.
  • Contribute to internal / external training initiatives where needed
  • Assist in the continual review and improvement of the processes and procedures within the area
  • Undertake any clerical and administrative tasks required
  • Follow the policies and procedures in the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the information that Railsbank manages.

    We are looking for the following skills / experience :

  • Knowledge of the Card Industry preferably in an Issuer implementation team
  • Familiarity with Visa / Mastercard Rules
  • Experience of producing high volume, accurate work with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience of providing outstanding customer service
  • Extremely well organized and able to prioritise a large and varied workload
  • A confident and articulate telephone manner with an ability to adapt interpersonal styles dependent upon the audience.
  • A strong working knowledge of Google packages - Gmail, Google Docs and Sheets
  • A positive outlook with an ability to prove to be a committed, punctual and reliable member of the team
