SAVUK & SMR Arrears Control

  • Daily control of the SAVUK & SMRs fee arrears, including all debt payable by Central Finance
  • Regular reporting of arrears position
  • Liaising with PM Team Leaders & Administrators on office arrears values
  • Regular contact with PMIT systems team to review exceptions.
  • Close working with Accounts Payable team to review the reconciliation
  • Manage the flow of the invoices from Billing to payment
  • Review funding issues with Client Accountants / CRMs
  • Review Client Direct invoices with CRMs, liaising with Cambridge Credit Control on chasing
  • Regular review of the ledgers & any issues with manager
  • Work closely with the Billings team to ensure all invoices are loaded
  • Review / chase sold balances
  • Chase for outstanding coding
  • Work with the mobilisation team to identify on boarding / off boarding properties more efficiently
  • Review Business Stream Arrears for SMR with income stream leads.
  • Review of systems & shape any further developments
  • Regular review with Cambridge Team on any credit balances, reconciling the sales ledger for under / over / duplicate payments
  • Assist, where required, in reconciliations for the processing of refunds for overpayments and duplicate payments
  • Update Dynamics AX system with status and note updates for reporting on over 10k debts, funding issues or problem debts
  • Provide the preview payment check for daily Central Finance payments & promptly provide a breakdown of remittances to the banking team
  • Progress 12 months+ historic balances, responsibility for obtaining payment or agreeing write offs with the relevant property managers
  • Any other business in relation to the role & responsibility level
  • Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • High attention to detail & well organised
  • Strong Individual who is a self-starter
  • Property Management Experience
  • Experience of managing funding issues
  • Confident to communicate at all levels
  • Arrears control experience
  • Knowledge of PM systems
  • A persuasive attitude with a good telephone manner
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn through internal training as well as independently
  • Numerate and technically competent
