We are seeking to appoint a University Instructor in the Section of Sport and Exercise Sciences within the School of Human & Life Sciences.
The successful candidate will teach and provide teaching support in one or more of the following areas : Biomechanics, Sociology, Coaching and Physiology across the undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Section.
The post holder will deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical work on the programmes related to their expertise.
The post holder will devise and support academic classes and will have the ability to deliver from both theoretical’ and applied practice’ perspectives.
The post holder will also contribute to the research methods teaching in the Section. The successful candidates will enrol on the PhD programme in a strategic area aligned with the research objectives of the Section.
The post holder will have the minimum of a good honours degree (2 : 1 or above) in a relevant discipline. They will have a commitment to delivering a high-
quality student experience, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
