MAC Cosmetics - Artist and Talent Relations Manager (12 month fixed term contract)


Position and elevate our backstage stronghold and bring our brand pillars to life to the consumer (focus on Trend Authority, Artistry, Individuality and Community) with consumer facing campaigns and activations that express our involvement across the Arts (theatre, performing arts, film, ballet), Trends, Fashion and Music.

AREAS OF FOCUS : Talent and Artist Relations. Represents the image, products and culture of MAC to the Professional Consumers.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional ICE team to activations driving awareness and content for the brand, measuring and communicating result


Strengthen existing relationships and develop new relationships / set up partnerships within the professional community in UK and Ireland, focused on production West End productions

Strengthen the image of MAC within the professional community

Manage the relationships with key artist agents

Cultivate relationships with artist influencers

Identify artists and sets, facilitating and if required, accompanying Sr. Artist(s) on set visits and productions to showcase and introduce new products

Collaborate closely with cross-functional ICE team to activations driving awareness and content for the brand, measuring and communicating result

Work with the ICE team on all London Fashion Week’s (LFW) and manage the relationships and organisation of all freelance artists scheduled on the MAC schedule

Work with the Senior Talent & Collaborations Manager to pull together a freelance artist London Fashion Week strategy and plan


Oversee theatre, music, film, performing arts and talent relationships

Identify local influencers or talent for potential Global collaborations

Develop a student / college strategy to drive awareness, brand loyalty and conversion via fashion and Artistry - collaborate with co.

uk to drive our student business

Collaborate with key industry talent, both established and emerging, to create key content for the brand focusing on key brand launches, big bets and focus areas e.g. VIVA GLAM

MAC PRO / PRO Student

Support Senior Talent & Collaborations Manager to establish a UK centric PRO database (decouple from Global) and relaunch a compelling and competitive PRO programme.

Cross functional alignment to with FSS Sales Director, FSS Retail Marketing Manager and Consumer Marketing team to create a roster of events and CRM programme for the professional consumer

Create engaging activations, content and communications that engage with our Pro consumer

Develop and oversee execution strategies and events focusing on continuous engagement for Pro Members including outreach to entertainment industry groups

Oversee MAC Pro Membership benefits

Build relationships with industry bodies to target new groups and expand

Pro Membership focusing on quality acquisition e.g. BECTU, WFTV, EQUITY

Work with Business of strategy offering unique events for the professional community

Drive awareness of PRO doors in our FSS and BT Dublin

Create unique, disruptive consumer and industry events that drive our backstage heritage i.e. MAC Matinees, MAC Lates to grow our professional community and loyalty

Work with the FSS Sales and Retail Marketing teams to create an industry hub’ at the brand’s flagship and PRO store MAC Carnaby Strengthen the relationships with fashion / beauty schools to drive awareness of the brand and promote PRO Membership benefits


Support and manage UK specific Pro programme (technology dependent) and database of pro consumers to drive awareness and conversion to all members in UK and ROI

Review and regulate the MAC Pro members extend to influencer engagement

Educate MAC PRO and FSS locations to ensure strong knowledge base of both the industry and MPMP

Identify and establish new contacts to educate potential professional consumers on the MAC PRO Membership Programme


Established experience required in either PR, partnerships or a creative talent agency

Excellent industry contacts needed
