As a Business Development Manager / Account Executive you will be working for a hugely ambitious software / SaaS company which has just received over $20 million in funding to expand their presence within the EMEA region and become the number brand within their SaaS specialism.

The SaaS technology is sold into Banking and Financial Services, it is a technology / software solution which assists stakeholders involed within business mergers & aqcuisitions, ensuring all stakeholders involed in the process can access critical / confidential information which is stored securely.

Everybody who joins the company receives shares in the business, and with there being an exit strategy within 2 years the team are all working collaboratively to achieve the end goal.

About The Business Development Manager / Account Executive Role The Business Development Manager / Account Executive will be responsible for managing the entire Sales / Business Development cycle, generating leads and prospects before closing sales.

This is a brand new market and territory, so the Business Development Manager will head up the market and look to grow the team in time.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager / Account Executive :

  • Building a sales / business development pipeline, generating leads and responding to inbound inquiries.
  • Learn the intricacies of the SaaS platform / software product.
  • Map out and own your own terriorty and market, this is a newly formed area of the business meaning autonomy and fast-tracked progression.
  • Managing the sales cycle, closing business and achieveing set revenue sales targets monthly.
  • Attending frequent network events with Banks, Private Equity firms and Financial Services firms.   • Essential Skills and Competencies of the Business Development Manager / Account Executive :

  • Minimum of 18 months SaaS / Technology Sales or Business Development experience.
  • Consultative style of selling.
  • Ideally have experience selling into Financial Services & Banking.
  • Ideally Degree educated
  • Articulate communication skills
  • Driven and motivated by a career within Sales / Business Development. The Business Development Manager / Account Executive receives a highly competitive salary paying from £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and excellent company benefits.
