A great opportunity to join our Satellite & Media division as a Finance Manager supporting Arqiva, global leader in communications infrastructure in a 12 month fixed term contract.

Please note this role can be based in either our Chalfont or London office.

As part of the Satellite & Media division for the business, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the production and maintenance of financial planning and reporting models for the budget, forecast and Long-

Term Plans, providing robust financial planning assumptions (for the S&M permanent business - UKDTH, Distribution Platforms and Managed Networks, Media and Data Networks engineering (MDN) business streams) and consolidations under the supervision of the Head of Finance.

Acting as a business partner the Finance Manager will interpret financial and operational results to provide insightful management information and recommend actions for senior management as part of the financial reporting and planning processes.

  • As well as this the finance manager will;
  • •Support the commercial decision-making process with the provision of high quality financial analysis (e.g. product profitability, Business Cases) to challenge and assist the delivery of growth / optimisation of profit generation and cash flow.

    •Critically appraise bids for new business and investment proposals.

    •Manage the modelling of sales commission plans, ensuring reasonable and yet challenging sales targets are agreed, reflected accurately in models and communicated to the sales teams in a timely manner.

    •Ensure robust month end results and commentaries in monthly packs.

    •Drive continuous improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives

    To be a successful Finance Manager, you will be a qualified accountant and ideally have knowledge or experience within Satellite & media services.

  • You will have both a financial and management accounting experience as well as;
  • •Hold a background in data analytics with advanced excel including modelling

    •Experience of driving process improvements

    •Flexible approach to working, travel to other sites (mainly London) will be required with this role

    •Experience in satellite & media would be advantageous
