Sales Development Manager is key to further grow the new client segments as well as existing client types, ensuring diversification of customer.
This new role will be able to approach and determine new clients proactively, as well as maintaining and grow relationships with the customers assigned.
Analyzes evolution of the assigned clients, in order to increase their sales via new products, new segments, new rates, etc.
Develop strategic sales planning for assigned clients (short, medium and long term).
Uses and manages destination feedback to increase sales.
Contacts existing leads and new leads.
Convert potential leads into new clients.
Follow up new accounts.
Manage sales activities using the Salesforce CRM system.
Acts as a primary point of contact and obtains feedback on the product and services to enable improvements.
Reviews daily, weekly and monthly performance in line with targets and budgets, takes action accordingly.
Visits and works proactively with clients to improve the performance e.g. conference calls, sales calls, presentations, trade show attendance.
Works proactively with other departments to maximise all opportunities.
Fluent in English, French & German is a plus.
Proved experience on bedbank or hotel distribution.
Understanding of the business.
Understanding of key Bedbanks & tour operators within Europe.
Good knowledge of key players within European Market.
