Role Description

Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the Change Management Lead is responsible for managing the Group Change Management (GGC) Team and overseeing change governance processes across the organisation.

The focus areas are leading a team of change analysts located in UK / Sri Lanka, overseeing the Group Change Governance processes & procedures across LSEG, providing stakeholder engagement and producing service reporting.

  • Leading the Group Change Management Team located in UK / Sri Lanka
  • Managing workloads by setting priorities and monitoring tasks
  • As process lead, working with the process owner and wider ITSM Teams to develop and enhance the core Change Management processes
  • Build close working relationships with the business stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of Change Management functional processes
  • Identifying areas requiring improvement both from a procedural, technical or cultural perspective
  • Ensuring end to end processes are performed with appropriate control, measurement and governance.
  • Supporting Group Global CAB & local CABs and where required performing change reviews, leading change meetings, including providing agenda & minutes
  • Analysis of change themes & trends and providing comprehensive reporting
  • Providing oversight to Risk / Audit actions and responses
  • Provide status reporting on team performance, projects, tasks and issues
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data and information in change tickets
  • Provide coaching and mentoring within the team
  • Other activities

  • Provide support in the adoption of and adherence to GGC across the wider group.
  • Working closely with each service area to create the CSI objectives, supporting them with the improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting the Service Operations Manager with other activities and initiatives.
  • Key behaviours and skills required to be successful in the role :

  • 5 years plus in a Change Manager Lead Role
  • 2 years plus management experience
  • 5 years plus in technology operations
  • Proven ability to lead change management in a large organisation, preferable in a federated model
  • Experience of upskilling others in change management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel and other reporting tools) essential
  • Highly organised and capable of working to tight deadlines while maintain quality
  • Good understanding of project management tools and techniques (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • ITIL v3 2010 Lifecycle Operations , Transition
