The Governing Body of St John's CE Primary School are delighted to be able to offer this exciting opportunity to work at our friendly, small church school.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support learning, predominantly in Class 3 which is a mixture of Year 3 and Year 4 children.

The successful candidate will be;-

  • an exemplary practitioner
  • demonstrate high standards of behaviour management using a nurturing approach
  • be inspirational to the children
  • able to adjust activities to include children of all abilities including children with SEND
  • committed to whole school improvement through being part of, and contributing to, a whole school team
  • experienced in promoting the wellbeing of pupils, providing guidance and nurture
  • maintain excellent relationships with parents, children and staff
  • committed to and able to support the school's distinctive Christian ethos

  • This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-

    rata basis. The hours of work are Wed-Fri 8.45-3.20pm including one 30 minute lunch duty.

    The position is temporary until 31 / 3 / 20, after which it will be subject to a budget review.
