An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Engineer with our global automotive client in Sunderland.

Responsibilities of the Environmental Engineer include :
You will have an Environmental Science or Environmental Management qualification (degree level or equivalent) and have a deep and thorough knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 implementation.
You will also need a good understanding of air, water and waste pollution impacts and control techniques, with the ability to liaise with environmental regulators
There will be opportunities for you to meet with local councils and represent the business with external bodies including Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and host external audits from Vehicle Type Approvals.
To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work within the UK.
