I am working with a Primary School based in Rochester (Medway) who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Learning Support Assistant, to work alongside a class teacher, as part of the school Inclusion Team.
You have to provide care and management of individuals or small groups of pupils and assist in managing the learning environment.
This particular position will be working across KS1 with a variety of children with different needs, this is a role that will be extremely challenging but rewarding at the same time.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will under the instruction of teaching staff, work with an assigned pupil delivering individual programmes of work, care and support, to enable access to learning.
You will also support the assessment of their needs and future planning of their learning. You'll be liaising directly with class teachers and the school SENCO to come up and development new and exciting plans and ways of learning.
To be considered for this role you must have at least 2 years experience supporting children with additional needs, you must be a hardworking and committed person who goes above and beyond the normal duties required.
The school are looking for someone to make an immediate impact with the children and to raise attainment at a steady pace and to ensure the children are following school behaviour and expectations.
