We are looking for a Revenue Accountant to innovate , win , and grow with us.


To provide first class revenue accounting and control as part of the SSC team. The role will include supporting the monthly and quarterly revenue close process under USGAAP 606 with a particular emphasis on our Financial Messaging Asia business.


Month end revenue reporting for the FMA business reconciling actual revenue to business forecasts in conjunction with the local management team.

Responsibility for the associated revenue Balance Sheet reconciliations for the FMA business together with relevant disclosure notes as required to support group SEC filings.

Working with the EMEA FPA team and FMA management team to help determine short term forecasts providing guidance on revenue recognition for new orders as appropriate.

Manage cost accounting under ASC606 / ASC 340-40. Control of the relevant feeder systems capturing commission cost and fulfilment effort to ensure appropriate capitalization and subsequent amortization of costs in line with USGAAP ensuring completeness and accuracy of data flows between source systems and the Revpro accounting software tool.

Supporting local audit requirements, including statutory accounts by owning any audit requests linked to revenue.

Supporting the annual SOX audit process by ensuring control procedures are up to date with relevant documented evidence of compliance maintained.

Multiple ad-hoc projects as required in a fast paced acquisitive environment.


Ongoing support to commercial team as appropriate in particular helping to support forecasting by identification of contracts due for renewal to assist timely billing of contracts.


Working as part of the broader finance team with regular liaison between the local revenue operations team, FMA commercial management, EMEA FPA and the FMA finance team based in Singapore.


Continue to develop and improve AX close routines and controls. Working with the global Enterprise Applications team to improve the cost integration process across accounting systems.

Improve (KPI’s)

Review of existing month end procedures to drive efficiencies and help reduce the monthly reporting close cycle. Project work to support integration of recently acquired entities.


No direct line management but the role requires ensuring co-ordination with the Singapore accounting team to ensure that current month processing is complete and relevant documentation for revenue recognition is provided in a timely fashion.


  • Experience in a similar role;
  • Background within the finance functions of a European technology company;
  • US GAAP experience in a software / technology environment is highly desirable;
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and financial systems;
  • Shared Service Centre Experience;
  • CCAB or CIMA qualified
