We are looking for a project engineer to join our highways and transportation service based in the Kirby Misperton office.
The core focus of the job is to provide engineering support to the area manager / maintenance manager / improvement manager in managing, maintaining and improving the highway network in the area.
You will be involved in the implementation of highway improvement and maintenance schemes, routine highway maintenance activities, delivery of the winter maintenance service, local network management and liaison with the public at a local level.
You will also be involved with local highways development control, traffic management and the enforcement of highways legislation.
To be successful you must have or be working towards an HNC / HND in an appropriate technical discipline or similar appropriate qualification, and knowledge of legislation, techniques and practices associated with highways is essential.

Kirby Misperton is a small village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire. North Yorkshire has a lot to offer all ages.
It is easily accessible from all areas, with great links from the A19 and the main M1. It also has great rail links with London and York.
