Pivotal Support in Poole are recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team in Poole, working in new projects launching end of August-

beginning of September, overseeing and managing the support for young people with complex needs, including mental health needs and substance misuse issues.

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage the staff teams across our 2 new Youth Services. You will be providing practical support for staff and ensuring the smooth running of the individual projects, producing weekly reports in regards to occupancies to maximise bed space opportunities.

You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be working with a broad client group, statutory agencies and your own support team and will be expected to attend multi-

disciplinary meetings, house meetings and conduct supervisions. A professional approach will be required at all times as you will be the first point of contact for your staff and will be expected to participate in disciplinary procedures when required.

As a primary point of contact for outside agencies and clients, you will be representing Pivotal and must demonstrate our values.

Organisational and administration skills are required as part of your role will be to ensure client files and paperwork are up to date and accurately maintained, including risk assessments and support plans.

You will need to be able to prioritise your workload, ensuring that service is delivered and issues / queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

Experience of Health and Safety is essential as you will need to be able to identify and report any issues and ensure that work is completed to an appropriate timescale.

It is essential that you are confident working as part of and leading a team. You will be expected to conduct regular supervisions to identify training needs and work with the HR Training Partner to ensure that your staff are confident and successful in their roles.

You will need to ensure that your team work together to deliver a high standard, flexible service. As well as your own team, you will be working with various managers and support functions across Pivotal Group and must be able to maintain good intercompany relationships.

This role would be a great next step for an experienced senior support worker who has shown that they have the ability to run their own team and who has a thorough understanding of supporting complex clients to stabilise their lives and make positive choices with the aim of securing permanent accommodation in the community.
