As a member of our Casualty Team working under the Litigation Management Unit, you will work closely with Aviva Trial Lawyers and approved External Legal Firms to ensure that all protocols and procedures are executed.
You will provide input and assistance with the strategic direction of all claims handled within the DAP Program. The position requires a self-
starter and autonomous worker who will represent Aviva on all DAP mediations and some pre-trials. The ability to communicate and persuasively drive change is a key skill requirement.
Travel outside of the Greater Toronto Area will include, Hamilton, Ottawa, London, Windsor, Northern Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada.

Uses well- reasoned arguments to support our position and achieve buy-in.
The successful candidate will be heavily involved with Aviva’s various Defensible Programs, and drive a consistent message with judges, mediators, and counsel surrounding our Litigation files.
Experience / Skills required : Do I have what it takes?
Some Provinces require adjusters to be licenced, therefore Aviva will work with the successful candidate to ensure they are appropriately licenced and able to work in all regions.
