Summary of role

This role is for a proactive and highly competent EA who willoperate successfullyin a pressurisedand fast-paced environment, providingprofessional and client-

focussed support to senior stakeholders andheads of business.Reporting to thePractice Group Manager, the individual needs to be adaptable to and supportiveof change whilst sufficiently experienced to influence stakeholders and buildrelationships.

The role will include undertaking complex tasks and projects,providing transactional support and playing a critical role in managing allroutine and daily administrative tasks.

A degree of flexibility around workinghours is expected with this role.

Responsibilities

Build strongrelationships with, and develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of,internal and external clients, mandates and projects

Act as gatekeeper forstakeholders

Extensive diarymanagement, using own initiative to manage email accounts and to develop andmaintain systems to promote efficiency

Draft high qualitycorrespondence, engagement letters, documents, agendas, reports, presentationsand spreadsheets

Build strongrelationships with business services teams and maintain effective and efficientuse of business support services

Ensure all activitiesand duties adhere to risk and compliance requirements

Attend and contributeto team meetings as required detail and progress action points as appropriate

Detailed travelarrangements

Assist withfinancial and transactional management iebilling process, WIP and client matter engagement

Research and obtainclient information and data, as well as following current and target clients onsocial media and in quality press

Proactive upwardmanagement of business development and other firm-wide initiatives

Proactively maintainand update client relationship management system

Support additionalstakeholders and colleagues as and when required

Identify andfacilitate knowledge sharing within peer group and wider team

Generaladministrative support

Requirements

Excellent academicbackground, educated to graduate level or having equivalent professionalexperience

Advanced MicrosoftOffice skills

Commercial andfinancial acumen

A thoroughunderstanding of working in a professional, service driven environment and ofstakeholder / client / business confidentiality

Confident andprofessional manner with the ability to build strong relationships withstakeholders and clients

Excellent communicationskills and ability to interact at all levels

Collaborative andsupportive of the business and its initiatives

Adaptable and open tochange showing a willingness and confidence to make suggestions for changewhere appropriate

Strong organisationalskills and excellent attention to detail

Ability to remainproactive and flexible at all times

Anticipate andidentify potential problems and provide innovative solutions
