We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Reading. The SDR is critical to new business development for Turbonomic.

IT is also the starting point for sales to progress their career. In the UK many of a SDR's have progressed into Enterprise and Commercial Field sales, Alliance Sales and management.

What you'll be doing :

  • identifying key contacts and target accounts through prospecting databases
  • developing a territory strategy to penetrate key target accounts
  • achieving individual & team metrics through outbound prospecting efforts
  • ensuring quality of opportunities so they become forecasted pipeline
  • actively engaging in training program to gain expertise in Turbonomic’s product offerings and competitive landscape
  • developing skills necessary for successful lead generation and demo completion
  • working in a team environment with other Sales Development Reps and Account Executives
  • your 'personal development plan' to accelerate your career in tech-sales
  • What you'll bring :

  • have previous experience cold-calling senior executives in the IT department of an enterprise company
  • have a good understanding of sales processes, and complex sales cycles
  • are adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth atmosphere
  • have a structure in your approach to sales
  • possess strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • have never been fashionably-late. Time-management is key to your success!
