Description & Requirements

  • This role has direct financial accountability for the sites Maintenance budget.
  • Internal relationships will mainly include the Operations Manager- Process Quality Leader and Reliability Engineering Managers.
  • This position holds the responsibility to set the standards as the role model for effective team working and shall be expected to work closely with all functional teams at all levels.

  • It is expected that there will be interaction with the Safety and Quality functions depending on the improvement activities being executed and this role has the responsibility of ownership for the effective Safety & Quality standards improvements across the site.
  • External relationships include- OEMs- Specialist service providers and asset care & reliability specialists.

  • Minimum of five years’ operating in a manufacturing environment with experience of driving reliability improvements and asset care optimisation strategy.
  • The job holder will have experience of working in a fast-moving environment and liaising with various levels across multiple functions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the tenacity and resilience to ensure new initiatives are implemented.
  • Ideally Master’s degree qualified in Reliability engineering and / or Asset Care competence or appropriate Engineering degree with demonstrable relevant supporting proven experience.
  • Consideration shall be given to individuals working towards these competencies on a professional development programme.

  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Experienced in RCM and FMECA
  • Experienced on varied predictability tools and techniques (Vibration analysis- Acoustic analysis- etc)
  • Ideally experience of lean principles and applications
  • Experience of CMMS (Ideally SAP).
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives.
  • A forward thinker who demonstrates a can-do’ attitude.
  • Has excellent communication and written skills to ensure quality reporting.
