We have a great opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our busy Property Services Commercial Management Team. We're all working from home right now, but when we do start safely returning to the office, your base location will be our new head office in Basingstoke.

The focus of this role is to manage the Lift contracts with a view to becoming the Lifts Authorised Person (AP). As a Contract Manager, you will provide operational contract performance management for a portfolio of allocated contracts and projects in our Cyclical Servicing team, taking the lead in the operational delivery and monitoring of contracts and supplier performance.

This is a varied role and your responsibilities will include :

  • Providing advice when new contracts are procured to ensure contracts are fit for purpose, carrying out site inspections to determine scope of works in order to develop project briefs to agreed service levels, time-frames and budgets
  • Ensuring all breakdowns, remedial works and inspections are attended and completed within contractual time-frames
  • Overseeing the delivery of minor repair projects and cyclical servicing contracts
  • You should have demonstrable experience in a similar role in Contract management, preferably with a background in property or construction.

    Ideally, you'll also have :

  • A thorough understanding of Lifts (domestic and communal) along with their relation to LOLER, with good technical and practical knowledge.
  • Lifts experience is desirable but we're open to other compliance areas)

  • The ability to review risk assessments and determine the impact of the decisions on our residents
  • Strong communication, negotiating and problem solving skills
  • There may be some travel required with this role across our operating area so you should have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle and be happy to travel.
