You will have used Amadeus extensively during your time within a travel company, so are more than familiar with the process of issuing, revalidating (or reissuing tickets) and managing queue banks within Amadeus.
Your experience processing fare and tax refunds via Amadeus and BSP have given you specialist insight into ADM & ACM notices and how to investigate them.
The GDS ticketing rules by carrier and type are like a second language to you; including published, seat-only and ITX fares - and this, coupled with proficiency in fare calculations - has given you the ability to manually calculate fares when required.
You have extensive experience processing date changes, route changes, cancellations, involuntary schedule changes and name corrections within Amadeus in line with ticket rules, doing so with accuracy and an ability to identify alternative fare options where required.
Amadeus Fares and Ticketing Specialist Requirements :
particularly requirements for the UK and ideally for other markets such as Ireland, Nordics and the USA.
You are used to working to tight deadlines so can manage your time well and thrive when having lots of different challenges to prioritise and complete.
You know how to keep professional when assisting customers in difficult situations and you enjoy working as part of a busy team.
Our contact centre is open 7 days a week 08 : 00 20 : 00. Shift patterns are variable and based on a 37.5-hour contract to include some weekend work.
