Main Purpose of the Post
We are looking for a postdoctoral scientist with expertise in lipidomic mass spectrometry to characterise reactive oxygen species production within neutrophils.
The successful candidate will design and carry out experiments aimed to reveal specific mechanisms and markers of novel reactive oxygen species generators that modulate inflammation.
As part of the EU Future Emerging Technologies NeutroCure consortium, the ultimate goal of the project is to develop novel strategies to control inflammatory, autoimmune disease.
The candidate will join a wider team of researchers who study inflammatory biology at the Institute of Life Sciences in Swansea University Medical School.
