Duties of the Role
Arena Staff will be expected to support the safe and efficient delivery of both sporting and non-sporting events hosted at the Essex Sport Arena.
There are broadly two main event types :
Additionally, staff will be expected to support the match day manager and event set-up / set-down where needed.
These events can be either sport or non-sport in nature.
Skills and qualifications required
You must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills and be able to balance a diverse and varied work environment.
You should be able to work calmly and rationally under pressured situations and think creatively to respond to unplanned scenarios.
Experience with assisting in event delivery, working with young people and an interest in AV equipment will be beneficial.
Importantly, the position requires enthusiasm and a passion for events, ability to work independently as well as part of the wider events team and demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
