Position Summary

The Director, Client Renewal Sales position is part of the Global Sales Team focusing primarily on annual renewals for current RSI clients.

In this role you will have the ability to articulate the RSI Support Model and Value Proposition to our clients to ensure the highest renewal rates possible.

You'll be responsible for successful quarterly campaigns to our target clients to ensure timely, accurate and positive renewal outcomes.

This role will work closely with the Sr Director, Global Renewal Sales, the EMEA General Manager and all levels of sales, as well as Client Success Managers and other internal parties that also work directly with our customers, and play a key role in providing updates and insight into our customer base.

The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to meet / exceed quotas. Must be hungry and have a passion for winning.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed renewal sales targets by renewing support services contracts with existing customers in a timely basis over the phone / email.
  • Track and manage all Client renewal opportunities within given territory.
  • Prepare renewal quotes and contract amendments as needed.
  • Up-Sell Multi-Year Renewals to ensure longer retention of clients.
  • Own the entire renewal process from end to end, including initial contact prior to invoicing, providing quotes, ensuring invoicing on schedule.
  • May be required to assist in collections, as well as Account Management, and other value added services deemed necessary during renewal cycle.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience

  • Significant experience within the software / High Tech industry. Sales / Marketing experience preferred.
  • Must be articulate and have strong writing skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are also required.
  • Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities.
  • Must be motivated, goal oriented and able to work independently.
  • Requires proficiency with computer applications, such as, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to present Rimini Street value proposition to ensure positive renewal outcomes with client, including walking clients through retention tools such as Savings Calculators, risk analyses, and others.
  • Ability to identify retention risks and leverage company resources to drive mitigation strategy.
  • Ability to harvest important information on future plans from conversations with clients.
  • Must be articulate and have strong writing skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are also required.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple critical priorities
  • Must be motivated, goal oriented and able to work independently
  • Ability to leverage supporting team of Global Client Engagement (GCE), Support Delivery, Legal, Marketing and others.
  • Ability to be flexible with dynamic client assignments and quota adjustments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, especially
  • Ability to speak / read French and / or Hebrew advantageous, but not essential
