The UK Assistant Account Manager is responsible for providing high quality support services to the UK Account Management team in the CSUK Private Bank.
The role holder will assist the team manager with administrative and support activities associated with clients booked on both the Account Management desk and Non-Strategic desk (NSD).
The role holder will be required to liaise with Relationship Managers, provide client lifecycle support, prepare payment and transfer of asset (ToA) requests and undertake other important time-
sensitive actions in support of the team manager. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of regular reporting and MI updates to senior management.
The role holder will gain significant exposure to the both the UK platform and other non-UK locations (e.g. Portugal), as well as gain a broad exposure to client support processes and procedures.
The UK Account Management team is a small unit (3FTE) and the team requires an enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to learn quickly and work autonomously.

Liaise with the UK Account Manager and non-UK RMs in order to provide effective client lifecycle support for UK Account Management and NSD clients.
Prepare Periodic KYC’ reviews including KYC documentation, client screening and transactions.
Support client exit and off-boarding processes including managing clients with illiquid securities.
Support client on boarding activities, producing high quality documentation & screening and obtaining necessary support documentation.
Assist with the definition of the service model including originating ideas for how the service can be expanded and enhanced.
Support enhancement of desk-based collateral including procedural documentation.
Participate in projects and other initiatives relevant for the team and UK platform.
Maintain links with Account Management functions in other IWM locations to ensure consistency of approach and access to the most up to date tools.
Foster a reputation for excellent levels of service and satisfaction.
The Assistant Account Manager reports to the UK Account Management lead.
The UK Account Management team are part of the CSUK Front Support Services area, reporting to the UK COO.
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
Experience of desk-based research.
KYC / AML knowledge & experience.
Familiarity with KYC tools (e.g., World-Check, Lexis Nexis).
Knowledge / experience of financial products and trade orders (preferred).
Appreciation of regulatory agenda (particularly around Financial Crime Compliance).
Analytical, with eye for detail.
Strong communication skills.
Builds sustainable relationships with colleagues, including RMs / ARMs and other support functions.
Ability to prioritise activities and work to strict deadlines.
Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
Interest in Private Banking & Wealth Management.
