We are looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic team member to support the research in Professor Randall Johnson's lab on a Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET2) project within the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience.

The role plays a key part in providing skilled technical support to the group. The main focus of the role will be T cell isolation from human whole blood conducting drug titration assays and T cell characterization as well as lentiviral transduction and knock-down assays.

Ideally you will have at least a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry with experience in molecular biology and biochemical techniques and used to the laboratory environment.

You should have good communication and IT skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively within the research group and the wider research community.

You should also be able to drive the project forward and work unsupervised.

Fixed-term : The funds for this post are available until 3 February 2022 in the first instance.
