This school, based in West Bromwich, are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their Key Stage One team.
You will be working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), working alongside the teaching staff and covering planned absences, allowing teachers time to plan and mark work.
Under the direction of the teaching staff, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering learning activities and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils progress.
As a successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will also have a role to play within extra curricular learning.
You will take part in some of the extra-curricular activities and potentially lead your own club / group
What skills do you need to be a successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)?
Hold a HLTA Qualification (Level 4)
Hold English and Maths GCSEs (or Equivalent)
Have a working knowledge of ICT
Have experience working in a Primary School
Be passionate about working with pupils in Key Stage One
