Our Fire Suppression Major projects Group is primarily focused on complex highly engineered fire suppression systems within the Manufacturing and Industrial sectors (mainly Warehousing and Distribution).
We are constantly looking to grow and expand our market share and on this occasion through the addition of an experienced Business Development Manager.
The Business Development position focuses on new customer acquisition and driving additional growth from existing customers defined within the sector.
In addition the role will also target specific projects or opportunities within the market to build relationships across all stakeholders and influencers.
You will work across mid / high level relationships to develop new accounts and selective existing accounts. The role will have high levels of responsibility within the team to operate independently to drive business development within key accounts as defined above.
How you will do it :
The business development manager will identify and qualify accounts in line with the defined business growth strategies in markets / sectors within the business unit.
From this qualification the business development manager will work to develop Strategic Account Plans for these accounts to drive coordinated activity to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
This will also include any identified cross sell opportunities across the account.Drive new opportunities to close through the implementation and execution of a StrategicOpportunity Plan a formal plan to win bringing together a team to support and activities to drive towards closing.
Drive creation of high quality opportunities and conversion improvement that will translate into increased sale quality (i.
e. higher volume, higher GM, more multi-solution and integrated deals etc).Manage all associated activities through the CRM tool SFDC to ensure all key dates are met within timescales and activities are aligned. What we look for :
