Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team based at our site in Livingston. The successful candidate will support production by setting up and maintaining equipment.

Key responsibilities :

Assist production in running machines for maximum yield

Troubleshooting, analysing, installing, modifying and repairing machines

Perform assigned calibration and preventative maintenance

Responsible for keeping accurate up-to-date records on all equipment

Responsible for all production machines spares inventory

Sourcing and ordering of spare parts for equipment

Work from and modify technical prints and associated documentation

Responsible for keeping work area clean and orderly

Produce and maintain machinery and repair logs

Review machine downtime to incorporate improvements

Manage upgrade modifications to equipment

Key requirements :

Competent in use of Excel, Word and Outlook

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Strong understanding and conscious of safe working practices

Good team player and actively contributes to resolve technical problems

Mechanical maintenance experience is necessary

Electrical maintenance experience is an asset

Experience in any planned preventative maintenance system would be advantageous

HNC in Mechatronics would be beneficial
