The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner. This role will be focussed on detailed financial business reporting and building relationships with key operators in the field.

You are joining the business at an exciting time in our journey where business growth and managing the integration of financial responsibility into the field is high on the agenda.

As a Finance Business Partner you will understand financial information and work closely with non-finance staff, supporting key operators to understand financial information alongside managing month-end reporting and distribution, monitoring and reporting on all financial data and preparing accurate and timely financial and KPI reports centrally at our Head Office.

The role will also support with the development of finance processes and will be responsible for supporting our national branch network including providing training and support to ensure an understanding of financial information including performance, cost saving and budgets.

Role Responsibility

  • Manage financial performance including profitability, costs, capital, balance sheets, retention data and month-end figures.
  • Build fit for purpose MI reports, dashboards and financial summaries to provide relevant financial information to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure all KPI’s & month-end reporting deadlines are met
  • Produce year end data in full support of statutory requirements & deadlines
  • Provide commercial financial data and advice to drive financial improvement in operational business performance
  • Support and advise the operational team with budgeting, forecasting and the management of financial information ensuring best practice, accuracy and consistency
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders around the country and support with the management of financial information and understanding
  • Encourage innovative ways of working across the team and business to support the culture of continuous improvement
  • Perform internal audits of systems, monitoring & reporting on any financial discrepancies
  • Ad-hoc analysis of financial trends
  • Support the Financial Controller
  • Who You Are

    You will be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, AAT, CIMA or qualified by experience) and be a proven Finance Business Partner with a strong ability to problem solve, taking complex data and providing analysis and business insight to support business decisions and strategy.

    You will also have strong attention to detail and have excellent analytical, data and problem solving skills alongside the experience of working in a finance / process driven environment.

    You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong working relationships in a growing environment, be strong and driven to evaluate results and communicate opinions and suggestions effectively.

    You must be a driven individual with a professional character who can work well with Senior Executives as well as key end users of financial information.

    You will alsobe technically skilled in advanced excel and have a strong knowledge of accounts regulation. You will also be happy to travel to our branches across England & Wales
