If so, then this role could be for you! In this exciting role you will be responsible for the delivery of all Lenovo UK & Ireland’s B2B channel / trade marketing activities, across Commercial PC, Workstation, Monitors, Tablets, SmartHub, and AR / VR.
Our commercial (B2B) business operates 95% through a channel partner model (distributor and reseller) so the level of engagement, loyalty, and capability with those partners is critical to the success of the business.
You will report to our Marketing Director based in the UK.

What is waiting for you in this role?
Input into the development of our Channel engagement, enablement, retention, and recruitment strategy for the year
Engage with the marketing teams of nominated channel partners to build quarterly co-marketing, MDF, and communication plans, aligned with business objectives, and KPIs, and alliance partner requirements
Support the translation of business strategy and account strategy into co-marketing plans with the selected channel partners
Develop and drive the amplification of Lenovo-owned brand and end-user campaigns through the channel
Management of channel (distributor and reseller) co-marketing / MDF budgets and spend
Be the UKI’s voice inputting feedback into EMEA owned channel tools (e.g. Partner Portal LPH, Channel Programmes, Channel edM etc.
and ensure their smooth implementation into the UKI operation. Become the UKI marketing expert on our Channel Portal, eDM and channel engagement tactics
Oversee the channel comms & eDM calendar including both EMEA led comms, local comms, and promotional / incentive comms.
Run the channel incentive programmes (including LORI, quarterly SPIF etc.) to drive maximum engagement, and loyalty from our reseller network.
Report regularly on KPI achievement and ROI.
Manage the co-marketing execution, tracking, communication, management reporting, and delivery against KPIs
Manage all relevant alliance-partner funding invested into Channel activities, and the approval, claim and PoE (proof of execution) process
What do we expect from you?
A Minimum of 3-5 years marketing / communications or category / product marketing experience, preferably with a PC background (or at least technology), either from a vendor, retailer or component brand
Good comprehension of the B2B market and understanding the channel sales model and IT / tech channel landscape
Comfortable in front of customers, business partners, agencies and management
Excellent presentation and communication skills : able to present ideas / strategies / products in a clear, concise, and convincing manner
Good networking skills; facility in communicating across the company matrix
Influencer : able to convince a sales team or retailer with negotiation skills, able to handle tough discussions
Creativity drive to do things differently #differentisbetter
Would be a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of the alliance funding process of Intel, AMD, Microsoft and others
Deep understanding of retailer PC business, processes, and ways of working
Experience of managing events or live experiential and managing agencies
People management, or strong coaching experience
