As part of the DVP / DFMEA Team, maintaining a good working knowledge of Customer Requirements and Test Cases.
Using the RMDV system to Classify and Schedule Requirements and Test Cases.
Use S-DOTS and Customer Intranet sites to find additional information on Standards and Specifications.
Prepare test plans for DVP activities.
Prepare DVP documentation for all applicable teams.
Use RTC to report on Test Tasks.
Generate metrics from RTC to show task progress.
Create documentation for Customer Exceptions sign-off
Raise Exceptions in the Customer E-Tracker system.
Participate in PDP / EL 181 activities in the prototype assembly plant.
Arrange and participate in Prototype build Fresh Eyes events.
Arrange and participate in Harness Tear Down events.
Plan, attend and minute DFMEA meetings.
Maintain and update DFMEA documentation In Excel, Byteworx or Enovia.
Maintain and update DFMEA supporting documentation (P-Diagrams, Interface Matrix, Boundary Diagrams)
Participate in quality lead activities
Create and maintain customer SCSS (Special Characteristic Summary Sheet) documentation.
Obtain SCSS sign-off from Internal and External customers.
University degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering, or equivalent
Previous proven working knowledge of Quality and reliability methods (DFMEA, 8D,etc)
Working and practical knowledge of working in to Automotive EDS requirements
Previous proven experience of conduction Test and evaluation methods
3D CAD knowledge
Project Management skills -working to deadlines
Microsoft Office Packages : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Previous systems experience of RMDV² (DOORS and RTC)
DFMEA specific tools Byteworx or Enovia
Working knowledge of GPDS, DVP, FMEA and APQP.
Conversant with quality systems such as Q1, QS9000 & TS 16949.
Vehicle assembly process, especially EDS related aspects.
Previous systems experience of WERS, AIMS and ECR’s
Very good communication skills combined with a high degree of self-motivation and self-confidence are absolutely necessary.
Must be able to use own initiative and happy to make decisions.
Positive attitude with a good ability to deal with work pressure and overcoming challenges, while maintaining ownership of issues.
Well-developed analytical ability with a passion for solving problems or initiating improvements.
High degree of functional and time-related flexibility is essential.
Ability to progress chase, manage deadline expectations, report progress & flag areas of concern
Strong communication skills
Ability to be flexible regarding working hours and location
Fluent in English language
