Job Description

A customer focused security Concierge with skills to engage with the customer base as well as provide security and support for the premises and residents.

The project will offer temporary floating and Semi supported independent Living Services for maximum 6 Young People aged 17 to 21 years where the Young People can be assisted to acquire necessary skills in preparation for living independently.

The role requirements are :

  • Provide appropriate level of concierge support to young people between 5pm to 8am Monday to Friday, 24 / 7 weekend and bank holidays.
  • Be able to work effectively and develop positive relationships with the young people living in the flats ensuring the building is kept safe and secure during these hours.

    Demonstrate a track record of managing such services with a diverse workforce with relevant experience and skills.

    Experienced in being able to manage difficult situations including being able to deal with challenging behaviours and supporting young people with emergency situations.

    Provide flexibility in working hours and being able to support unexpected needs arising from situations such as Covid-19 when different working arrangements might be expected.

    Experience of developing positive working relationships with project manager, personal advisers along with demonstrating excellent communication skills and being able to pass on information relevant to professionals effectively.


    SIA Licence required , Door supervisor preferred

    Customer service qualification preferred

    Experience in social care environments preferred
