Finance Manager

Our main fund is the Credit Opportunities Fund. With £130m+ in AUM, the fund focuses on deploying capital into our various Credit Strategies within the Alternative Finance and Fintech industries.

The individual will be part of a nimble, professional team, with exposure to the entire deal and fund management processes.

The Opportunity :

We are a boutique investment Management firm, which is part of the larger Blenheim Chalcot network of companies. We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager , who will report into the COO.

The successful candidate will be charged with ensuring a strong financial control environment, including delivery of month end processes, preparation of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.

The remit of the role is expected to expand quickly, as the candidate will be expected to work closely with the COO and Head of Compliance of ongoing corporate compliance matters, including FCA reporting and capital adequacy calculations.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee month-end process, including preparation of management accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of an annual budget
  • Ensuring effective financial controls are in place
  • Treasury management
  • Oversee year end process, including annual audits of corporate entities
  • VAT, Corporation tax and other regulatory filings
  • Working closely with the Head of Compliance on Corporate Compliance matters
  • Requirements :

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Financial services background
  • Experience of consolidation
  • Experience of preparing corporate and VAT tax returns
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP
  • Project Management experience welcomed
