Head Chef - Banqueting Kitchen

Position Overview

  • To lead & motivate the Banqueting kitchen team to provide consistently exceptional food & service
  • To oversee, monitor & improve the kitchen operation & services to deliver high quality food and maximize business potential & profitability
  • To act as an ambassador of the hotel with guests, suppliers and Colleagues
  • Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

  • To mobilize & inspire kitchen colleagues and build high performing teams in order to achieve business goals & service standards
  • To manage a clean & efficient kitchen to produce 5 star quality food and deliver operational excellence to maximise business profit
  • To drive operational improvement and increase guest satisfaction across the kitchen
  • To ensure inspirational communication with guests, suppliers & colleagues
  • Qualifications and Desirables

  • Extensive experience as a Chef De Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef
  • In depth knowledge of 5 star kitchen processes and operations
  • Strong understanding & application of French; Asian, British & International cuisine
  • Excellent knowledge of French Kitchen terms
