About the Payroll Assistant role
High standards of payroll, combined with an increasing workload as Grundon continues to grow, means our Payroll Officer requires a focused and rigorous right-hand person to help provide a professional in-house payroll service.
Assisting in the completion of two weekly payrolls covering approx 450 employees over 15 sites, and monthly payrolls of around 300 employees, your duties as Payroll Assistant will include :

What we’re looking for in our Payroll Assistant
You may already have some payroll admin experience, or a background working with numbers for example, bookkeeping or accountancy, but key to this role is an excellent eye for detail, with a high level of accuracy. You should also have :

Finding the perfect candidate with a natural aptitude for payroll is important to us. Therefore, we welcome applications on a full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time basis (minimum of 25 hours, to include full-time hours on Mondays and Tuesdays).
