General Summary :
To install, commission, maintain and repair a variety of Extrusion, Fibre termination Machines, associated plant and equipment to a professional standard and within prescribed times.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Experience and Qualification :
NVQ level 3 or equivalent) experience in Maintenance Technician / Engineering field.
Practical working experience in a maintenance environment using both Mechanical and Electrical skills.
Experience in undertaking structural repairs, Chillers, Pumps, gearboxes, continuous manufacturing equipment, maintenance management system, alignment of machines / motors / gearboxes / pumps etc.
Experience in repetitive production cells and willing to innovate and increase output with customer satisfaction and quality as the main focus.
Skills Required :
Ability to think and work on own initiative with limited supervision, maintain high standards of personal discipline, be flexible in approach to hours worked.
