Lowndes Bar & Kitchen offers guests all-day dining from its modern British menu in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

About the job :

An opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Porter to join Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are :

To wash all cutlery, crockery, pans and other operating equipment of the Kitchen, Room Service and Restaurant.

To empty and clean rubbish bins in the Kitchen, the Staff Restaurant, Restaurant pantry, and the Room Service area

To clean the Kitchen, Room Service and Restaurant pantry areas, as well as the Staff Restaurant in the absence of the public area attendant.

To ensure that the correct cleaning materials are used at all times.

To ensure sufficient cutlery and crockery is available in the staff restaurant.

To let the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager know of any broken equipment.

To assist the Chefs with the preparation of mise-en-place when required.

To assist with Portering duties in the restaurant pantry if required.

About you :

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

Previous experience in a similar position

Excellent level of English
