The Opportunity Due to business growth and new project wins we are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Highways business.
The role will be accountable for the commercial management and success of a major road scheme based near Coventry. Reporting into the Commercial Manager this role will also be responsible for carrying out financial and contractual administration on the assigned contract in accordance with Osborne procedures, to keep costs, income and cash flow within established targets and to optimise cash flow.
The role will also set profitability targets with the team, develop procurement strategy, and regularly produce financial progress reports.
What are we looking for? You will be an Infrastructure commercial professional who understands how to support the successful delivery of a major project.
You will have working knowledge of NEC form of contracts and ideally have worked on road programmes. You will be comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that lines of communication are consistently clear.
You will be able to provide insights which both support the operations teams ability to deliver the project whilst also meeting and where possible exceeding the customers needs.
Collaborative in nature, you will support the development of others through an open approach which will strengthen relationships and provide intrinsic value to those working around you. Our Benefits
