Job Description Summary :

To implement the marketing plan as developed by the Regional Head and to generate sales within the region from new and existing clients.

The role is a market facing one, which will include developing work for other team members where appropriate.

With responsibility for work allocation to team members according to capacity and skill set, to ensure clients are provided with a first class service.

Job Description :

The work we do with our clients is hugely important. They rely on us to make sure they understand the complex and ever-changing tax system.

Join us and you’ll provide clients with integrated professional tax and independent wealth advisory services, whether that be individuals, trusts or corporates.

You’ll work with clients in various capacities to help them build wealth, protect wealth, enjoy and realise wealth. You’ll provide innovative solutions and vital support for now and the future.

The successful candidate will build and manage a portfolio of clients, deliver a high level of service to ensure retention of a recurring client base, as well as generate additional sales to these clients as appropriate.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Ability to perform in a sales focused role
  • Takes ownership to deliver specific projects as directed
  • Builds links with the wider Grant Thornton practice to ensure cross referrals of work and seamless client service
  • Promote the Investment Proposition to effectively win target clients
  • Builds a highly visible profile in the region, perhaps in relation to a niche area
  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders
  • Makes sure bills are raised and costs are collected on a timely basis
  • Manages work in progress to ensure recoverability targets can be met
  • Meets own financial targets

  • Hold at least a Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent and willingness to develop to Chartered
  • Capable of demonstrating experience of providing quality regulated advice to existing high value clients
  • Experience of winning new wealth advisory clients
  • Able to demonstrable network of professional contacts
  • Ability to demonstrate a full record of CPD and up to date knowledge of current legislation
