Orange Moon Training is entering a period of rapid growth across several regions with strong demand for our various childcare and education training programmes.

We are looking to build a marketing and recruitment team to enable the company to achieve its strategic growth targets, and to fulfil its funding contracts.

Specifically, we need highly experienced and energetic individuals with a proven track record of meeting recruitment targets.

We have flexible employment options, our positions are available on a salaried or freelance basis both full or part time.

Orange Moon Training is a specialist training provider with a mission to improve outcomes for children by providing high quality training to childcare and education practitioners.

We have been training practitioners to work in schools, nurseries, pre-schools and as home based educators (childminders) since 2010.

Key Duties

The purpose of this role is to source and recruit suitable candidates (learners / students) on to our range of courses including apprenticeships and traineeships.

The role will require you to work with a range of employers to fill their apprenticeship and traineeship vacancies. Our courses range from our short level 1 introductory / taster courses, to our full-time level 6 courses e.

g. our post graduate teacher apprenticeship. You will be working with a range of nursery, primary and secondary schools, early years childcare providers and childminders.

You will be required to :

  • Identify and attract employers and learners using all appropriate methods to fill course and apprenticeship vacancies
  • Identify, progress and convert sales leads into new employers or learners
  • Monitor responses / applications received and make sure that candidate applications are processed efficiently
  • Shortlist and present suitably qualified applicants against defined job vacancies our course criteria
  • Source suitable new employer vacancies in line with company strategy and sales procedures
  • Accurately record learner and employer information on the recruitment database
  • Successfully place suitable candidates with clients
  • Manage the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the employer, learner and internal teams
  • Conduct professional discussions with clients and candidates using all mediums as appropriate
  • Advise employers and learners on the legal, regulatory and ethical requirements and appropriate codes of practice when recruiting
  • Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (vacancies taken, calls made, interviews etc)
  • Proactively and consistently strive to identify and obtain new business opportunities
  • Manage and profitably develop client relationships
  • Conduct regular service reviews with both clients and candidates to ensure continuous improvement
  • Training will be provided via an apprenticeship programme where appropriate, depending on your experience. This will allow you to obtain a formal level 3 recruitment qualification and membership of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals

    Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the marketing, sales and / or recruitment
  • Experience in recruiting, preferably for the childcare and education sectors (preferably FE or HEI)
  • Ability to create and maintain website and social media content
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including a very clear, engaging and convincing telephone manner
  • Experience managing the recording and progression of initial enquiries to a sale using a CRM system e.g. ACT, Salesforce, etc.
  • Minimum 5 O-Level / GCSEs, or equivalent, must include Maths and English (A-C)
  • A driver with own car and willing to travel to events in all our regions as required although this will be kept to a minimum.
